My client are a highly renowned Law Firm with a National and International reach. They require an enthusiastic, service driven 1st Line Service Desk Analyst to join there busy Sheffield team. The purpose of the role is to react to service calls and requests from internal parties from administrator to senior partner. You will be required to handle telephone and e-mail requests, provide initial 1st line diagnosis and troubleshoot, providing solutions where possible and escalating when not. This is a fast paced and high volume, SLA driven environment that handles calls from UK and overseas areas of the firm, therefore a professional, service focused approach as well as good technical knowledge is essential. Other key skills for the role include:

• Demonstrable experience working in a commercial service desk environment
• Experience handling calls and emails
• Solid troubleshooting experience
• Windows XP and Microsoft office (2003) is essential
• Knowledge of troubleshooting Adobe Acrobat issues
• Experience of support/troubleshooting Blackberry Devices would be advantageous
• Any knowledge of Legal/Case Management packages i.e. Elite 3E would be a distinct advantage (But NOT essential)
• Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
• Demonstrable experience liaising with internal parties at ALL levels of seniority
• Strong team player
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work shift pattern (Covering 8am to 6pm)
• Any Microsoft or other IT accreditations would be desirable but not essential
