ILTA (International Legal Technology Association), the peer networking organisation for the legal market, has announced the formation of a chapter for the UK Region (which includes the Republic of Ireland). Nigel Blackwood, the IT Director at Wragge & Co LLP, has been appointed the Regional Vice President to guide the direction of programming and other activities for ILTA in the UK. Nigel will be aided by Bruce Nicholls, User Support Analyst in the London office of Bryan Cave LLP, who will continue his work in planning events in London. ILTA (www.iltanet.org), a non-profit organisation, is the leading peer networking organisation in the legal market. For nearly 30 years the organisation (it used to be called LawNet – no relation to the UK organisation of the same name) has led the way in sharing knowledge and experience for those faced with challenges in their firms and legal departments by providing its members information resources in order to make technology work for the legal profession.
