Intelligent Discovery Solutions, Inc., (“iDS”) a provider of expert information management and e-Discovery services to multinational corporations, financial institutions and law firms, announces the streamlining of its early case assessment services through the implementation of LexisNexis’s Early Data Analyzer (“EDA”) software. EDA allows the experts at iDS to rapidly cull hundreds of gigabytes of data with the goal of narrowing the scope of ingestion and providing a targeted file set that is potentially more responsive to each client’s matter.
iDS now will provide clients with reports on file types, duplicates, email domains, date ranges, and search results present in their data set. By completing an inventory analysis prior to ingestion, iDS will be able to help clients make decisions about their data and ultimately their case in advance of production. In addition, project timeframes can be expedited and cost savings can be achieved by providing clients with a more concentrated document set.
“We invested in LexisNexis’s EDA software because we believe it will provide us with valuable insight into our clients’ data,” said Neal Lawson, Managing Director of iDS. “EDA will help us determine risk, scope, limitations and potential cost of a matter. We’ll use this information, in turn, to help our clients decide on the direction of their case to achieve the best possible outcome.”
EDA adds another tool to the company’s growing e-Discovery consulting practice. In the past year, iDS has added staff, services and other resources such as Citrix-secured document hosting and review to better serve its clients and address changes in the e-Discovery landscape. www.iDiscoverySolutions.com
