The focus of this seminar is the future provision of publicly-funded legal services – following the implementation of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act (LASPO) – looking at recently introduced changes to the scope, funding and administration of legal aid in England and Wales.
Delegates will consider the long-term impact of Government’s recently implemented package of reforms – with latest thinking on areas such as exceptional funding, the merits test, community advice and financial eligibility – as well how changes to the scope of provision will impact on practitioners and service users alike.
