IntApp announce duo of UK wins with Lewis Silkin and Withers

IntApp Inc today announced two new UK wins. The first is with Lewis Silkin, who have deployed the new IntApp Open system as part of an initiative to streamline new client review and accelerate new matter inception.
“We implemented our first IntApp product, Time Builder, two years ago and found IntApp great to work with – they are open, collaborative and highly responsive,” said Jan Durant, Director of IT & Operations, Lewis Silkin, LLP. “IntApp products are first-rate – clever technology, slick user interface and straightforward delivery. Quite simply, IntApp are one of my favourite suppliers.”
Lewis Silkin partnered with IntApp on its new business acceptance initiative in 2012, joining an industry advisory consortium focused on identifying industry trends, responding to industry requirements and shaping an industry-changing approach to client and matter intake.
The second deal is with Withers LLP, who are using Time Builder to comply with the cost management requirements stipulated in the Jackson Reforms, government rules providing new controls around how certain types of litigation matters are conducted.
“The Jackson Reforms call for a significant shift in the way firms must prepare budgets for litigation matters,” said Andrew Wass, litigation partner, Withers LLP. “Withers has made thorough preparations and we are the first law firm to implement Time Builder’s cutting edge technology, which allows us to captures our team’s activity down to the level required by the Reforms. Time Builder gives us an accurate picture of the work that goes into a matter, which means that we will be able to use the system to estimate budgets based on prior similar matters, offering clients a more precise picture of our work for them.”
“Preparing budgets to comply with the Jackson Reforms adds complexity and operational challenges for any firm engaged in litigation matters, but it also represents an opportunity to deliver more value to clients,” adds Andrew Wass. “Time Builder allows for transparent monitoring of costs, so if our time on a matter runs over our original estimate, we can quickly provide the client with a credible revised budget.”
