Maxwell Hodge Solicitors is upgrading its case management capabilities by adopting SOS Connect. A full service law firm with around 75 people, Maxwell Hodge Solicitors is headquartered in Liverpool and has seven other offices across Merseyside.
The firm has used Solicitors Own Software (SOS) for legal accounting for over ten years and is now looking to roll out SOS Connect for integrated CRM, practice and case management. This SOS Connect implementation represents the first phase in the firm’s investment in technology to further enhance the performance of departments and the business as a whole.
Carol Head, business services director at Maxwell Hodge Solicitors explains “Initially, SOS Connect is being adopted in our commercial property team because they have the biggest need. Then we will look to roll SOS Connect out to other areas of the firm – private client, litigation and company commercial. We are scripting workflows to help the team manage their cases in the most consistent way, which is another tool to help us adhere to regulations and deliver the best service to our clients. We were looking at moving forward with a Microsoft Outlook based system and SOS Connect seemed the obvious choice, a real off the shelf solution that we can tailor to our needs.”
Carol Head continues “We will be undertaking a fairly major conversion process but, fortunately, the new system enables us to convert across on a modular basis and therefore the process will cause minimal disruption to the firm. When we do call on them, the SOS project and account managers always come back very quickly with the answer. We have already been an SOS client for over ten years and in addition, as a firm we prefer to work with suppliers who are not big multinational companies – we feel we get a better level of service with a business like SOS.”
