Workshare and Litéra agree to bury the IP hatchet

Litéra Technologies LLC and Workshare just announced that they have settled their lawsuit regarding metadata patents at the server. Workshare has agreed to license Litera’s patents 7,895,276 and 8,060,575.
Deepak Massand of Litéra said, “We are delighted to work constructively with Workshare to resolve our differences and view this as a key step in serving our clients and partners.”
“Workshare will continue to develop, support and sell our Protect Server product to clean metadata at the server as part of our focus on delivering innovation across the document life cycle,” said Anthony Foy, CEO Workshare.
