DocsCorp, (www.docscorp.com) a provider of document productivity software for document management professionals, just claimed that over 50% of the UK’s Top 100 law firms were now using DocsCorp’s suite of applications to manage document production and distribution. This growing trend is not isolated to the UK. The recently published ILTA 2014 Technology Survey also shows DocsCorp making significant gains in the North American legal market as a strong alternative to Adobe Acrobat and Workshare.
pdfDocs and the other companion products in the suite have been completely redesigned with a MS Office 2010/13 look and feel, including Backstage view and Ribbon menus. The modern user interface reduces complexity and clutter, allowing the user to focus on the task at hand. This will also reduce training requirements as it works like most of the standard applications on a user’s desktop.
“We selected DocsCorp because of ease of use. We knew when we implemented the solutions, it would require minimum training to get the end users up and running since they were already accustomed to the look and feel, “ said Keith Feeny, Director of IT and Operations at Hill Dickinson.
