10 years ago today – In June 2005 people were worried because Windows 2000 had just been end-of-lifed and only 38% of sites had migrated to the then state-of-the-art Windows XP and nearly 14% of sites were still running Windows 95 and 98. Today the concern is with Microsoft end-of-lifing Windows 2003. By coincidence, 14% of sites today are still running Windows XP.
Quite Interesting Fact: How big is the legal market? Finally, the Insides estimates the UK and Irish law firm market’s current total IT spend (including salaries) is approximately £885million (US$ 1400 million) a year.
