Here’s a diary date for next Monday – 16 November – in London… Starting 7pm the Bar Pro Bono Unit and sister free advice charity Z2K is running a charity fundraiser at the Inner Temple Hall. Highlights include a quiz hosted by Clive Anderson, with some excellent prizes plus a charity auction. The prizes include: Two week holiday at an apartment on the tropical island of Bequia + Tickets to the Wimbledon Championship Final + Private box at the Royal Opera House + London Eye Champagne Capsule Pod for 22 people + Tea with Lady Antonia Fraser < Yes Lady Antonia Fraser! As part of the auction, the artist Isobel Williams (we’ve featured her work on the Insider website before) is offering to sketch the lucky bidder (and/or something else they’d like). Isobel adds “If you’re persuasive and provide biscuits I might throw in a free frame. (All the money goes to the charities, not me.) Just think how embarrassing it would be for everyone, especially me, if NO ONE bid.
