Xact Data Discovery (XDD), a provider of ediscovery, data management and managed review services for law firms, corporations and government agencies, just announced its acquisition of Orange Legal Technologies (OrangeLT). Like XDD, OrangeLT offers a complete suite of discovery services, from forensic data collection to document review, and has put particular emphasis on building its managed review practice. The company provides specialized services to select industries, including pharmaceutical/medical devices; financial services; oil/gas/energy; and intellectual property, antitrust and litigation, all of which XDD will continue to support.
OrangeLT is based in Salt Lake City with additional offices in San Diego, Newport Beach, and Chicago.. The acquisition provides immediate growth on the West Coast to augment XDD’s recent expansion into other major cities there, including Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. It also brings to XDD extensive intellectual capital and a well-established reputation for providing high-quality, customized solutions to a unique customer base. In addition, OrangeLT brings proprietary technology that XDD will leverage as the company continues its expansion, including further growth in the specialized markets where OrangeLT has excelled.
