Hey partner: Tikit extends partnership with HighQ as Handshake Software teams up with Mobile Helix

Tikit this week announced that it has extended its technology partnership with HighQ and entered into its first North America-wide partnership, as SharePoint solutions provider Handshake Software said yesterday (3 February) that it has teamed up with Mobile Helix, creator of mobile app LINK.

LINK, which enables lawyers to securely access their documents, emails, calendar, intranet and web apps in one place, will now be available to Handshake Software Microsoft SharePoint customers. The encrypted mobile app now includes second-factor authentication – primarily through a finger print – for greater security.

“Our partnership with Mobile Helix provides Handshake Software clients with additional options when it comes to securely accessing their SharePoint Portal content from mobile devices,” said Glenn LaForce, executive vice president & chief strategy officer. “We recognize that law firms and their clients each have different security needs when it comes to their mobile solutions, so providing our product in the LINK secure container is a best practices solution.”

Last month Legal IT Insider revealed that Mobile Helix has also entered into a formal partnership with iManage.

Tikit, meanwhile, has expanded its technology partnership geographically and across product lines with HighQ, which in January received $50m in investment from Goldman Sachs Private Capital, Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital and One Peak Partners in order to accelerate its expansion globally and into verticals outside of the legal sector.

Tikit has been a preferred HighQ partner in the UK and Europe since 2013, helping to deliver its collaboration technology to law firms. However, the new partnership extends the relationship to include Tikit North America and Tikit Australia.

In addition to HighQ Collaborate, the partnership has been extended to include enterprise content management and client engagement and digital marketing platform HighQ Publisher.

Peter Zver, president of Tikit North America, said: “This is Tikit’s first North American-wide partnership and I am excited by the synergy and combined value we are bringing to our mutual clients and the legal market at large.

“HighQ Publisher is a natural fit and provides the ‘pull’ marketing element to Tikit’s industry leading ‘push’ e-mail marketing. With HighQ Publisher integrated with Tikit’s email marketing, firms will be well equipped to extend and enhance their digital experience with their clients and positively impact their service delivery levels.”

Ajay Patel, CEO and co-Founder of HighQ, said: “Tikit is a global IT and technology leader with unparalleled domain expertise within the legal and professional services space. As such, HighQ and our clients greatly benefit from our partnership and are delighted by the prospect of service and technology expansion.”

Tikit’s HighQ iManage Worksite connector is already used by many firms worldwide with the integration between Tikit’s eMarketing & HighQ Publisher scheduled for later in 2016.
