Intapp has made two senior leadership appointments including bringing in Steve ‘not the guy from kCura’ Robertson, formerly chief financial officer at Axiom, as its new CFO and Tariq Choudry, formerly at E2open, as senior vice president of professional services and support.
Prior to joining Axiom, Robertson served as executive vice president and CFO of RMS, the world’s leading catastrophe risk modelling company, where he helped drive an increase in revenues from $40 million to $300 million and substantial ongoing profitability. Before his 18-year career as a CFO, Robertson worked for 12 years as an investment banker. He holds an MBA in finance from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Robertson’s hire come two months after the announcement that Intapp has acquired time recording rival Rekoop, in order to offer clients both on premises and cloud-based time capture solutions.
“I’m impressed with the professionalism and commitment of the Intapp team, and see a tremendous opportunity to make a positive contribution as we enter our next stage of growth,” said Robertson. “The culture of Intapp – with its strong customer focus and unique technology vision – is fantastic, and I’m very excited to be part of the team.”
Choudry, meanwhile, now leads Intapp’s worldwide services organisation, overseeing the delivery of services to help customers gain maximum value out of Intapp software. He is based in Palo Alto, reporting to chief operating officer Don Coleman.
Prior to joining Intapp, Choudry served for 10 years as vice president of customer solutions for the Americas at E2open, a leading provider of cloud-based software for collaborative planning and execution across global trading networks. Before that, for nine years he was a director at BearingPoint, a global business and IT consultancy, and a Consultant at Oracle for three years. Choudry received a bachelor of science degree in Information Systems Design from Kingston University in the United Kingdom.
“Tariq is passionate about building client-focused organizations and brings valuable experience as a trusted advisor to world-leading companies,” said Coleman. “He is committed to helping Intapp bring our services and consulting capabilities to the next level, and I’m thrilled to welcome Tariq to the team.”
“Connecting and collaborating with customers is critical to our long-term success, and my top priority is to engage directly with Intapp clients to understand their strategic goals, as well as their day-to-day requirements,” said Tariq Choudry. “Having met with the Intapp services and support teams worldwide, I’ve been impressed with the technical talent and subject matter expertise we have to offer, and I’m looking forward to working more closely with our customers in the coming months.”
