Intapp has hired its first in-house recruiter in the UK as Nigel Lawrence joins the California-headquartered time recording company from Cogence Search.
The hire, which follows Intapp’s acquisition of Manchester-based time recording supplier Rekoop in January, is seen as justified by how quickly the company has already grown in the UK and its future growth plans.
Intapp’s premises in the City now exceeds 30 staff and Lawrence will be looking to fill a variety positions in both London and Manchester across all levels of seniority.
Intapp has in-house recruiters in its Palo Alto headquarters and in the Ukraine, where it has a big development site. Its significant growth rate is rumoured to come ahead of a planned IPO, however Intapp declined to comment on those rumours.
Lawrence told Legal IT Insider: “Intapp has grown so quickly they thought they would get somebody on the ground in the UK. The company needs to expand to meet client need because customer success is such a key factor and they want to make sure they are delivering on their promises.
“It’s really refreshing to work for a company that is looking to invest in people and where the people they have are at the top of their game.”
