Bird & Bird has announced an alliance with data privacy compliance and privacy management supplier Nymity.
The top 20 law firm’s international privacy & data protection team will use Nymity Attestor, one of Nymity’s privacy management solutions, to assist clients with privacy compliance programmes.
“Nymity Attestor reports on the status of a privacy programme, generating quantitative metrics supported by evidence and visualising results through the Data Privacy Accountability Scorecard,” said Ruth Boardman, co-head of Bird & Bird’s international privacy & data protection team.
“Incorporating Nymity Attestor into our services will help us create compliance programmes which are sustainable for clients and which anticipate the accountability requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation. We are always keen to move beyond black-letter law advice and to work with clients in a more productive way. Nymity Attestor will help us to deliver some of the key tools for ongoing compliance.”
The alliance was announced at the IAPP Europe Data Protection Intensive in London, which brings together privacy experts from different countries, mainly from the European Union.
