iManage New Customer Acquisition More Than Doubles Year Over Year

iManage just announced that its acquisition of new customers more than doubled from Q1 2015 to Q1 2016. The company continues to gain global momentum among both large and mid-sized law firms, as well as corporate legal departments, and accounting firms. During the first quarter of 2016, iManage added more than 50 new customers and saw existing customers expand their iManage footprint by adding mobility and cloud solutions.
“We are seeing a tipping point where the top law firms around the world recognize they need a partner capable of helping them address the growing pressures to meet the needs of today’s mobile professionals and demanding clients,” said Neil Araujo, CEO and co-founder of iManage. “Firms looking for agility, modern architecture, and proven ability to meet the needs of demanding professionals are switching from their existing content management systems to iManage. Just in the past few months, we have added six of the largest firms around the world including Dentons, the 14th largest law firm and K&L Gates, the 21st largest law firm in the US; Russell Cooke, the 89th largest law firm in the UK; Bredin Prat, one of the top 10 firms in France; and Lett, one of the top 10 firms in Denmark to our growing roster of market leaders choosing iManage.”
Since the beginning of the year, iManage has seen dramatic sales growth across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. Globally, in the first quarter, the company also welcomed new clients in corporate legal including KinderCare Education, Carillion plc, INPEX, Linde, and accounting firm PwC Thailand to name a few.
“There is an increasing desire among both new and existing customers to enable more effective mobility for professional employees,” continued Araujo. “Nearly 35 percent of sales in the recent months have included iManage Mobility. Last month, we enhanced the iManage mobile work experience by simplifying document editing and sharing from iOS devices, which has been well received by our customers.”
Momentum is also building worldwide in sales to mid-sized law firms, which made up the majority of new customers acquired in recent months including Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg, Martins Cunha, Queiroz Maluf, Ballanhouse Legal, and Murfett Legal. “Mid-sized firms are particularly excited about iManage Cloud because it enables them to easily access the industry’s leading work product management solutions – spanning document, email, and knowledge management, as well as collaboration and governance – with rapid deployment, no additional IT infrastructure, and for a monthly subscription fee,” continued Araujo. “iManage Cloud is the only work product management offering which provides full functionality both online and offline, giving busy professionals the ability to work in real-world circumstances, from any location, even when an Internet connection is not available.
