Leading Dutch law firm Loyens & Loeff has selected the DocsCorp productivity suite for PDF management, document comparison and metadata removal.
Legal IT Insider understand that Loyens, which recently adopted Contentworker from Formpipe as its new document management system, has swapped out well-known legacy tech Workshare across its offices in the Benelux region, Switzerland and financial centres across the world, implementing compareDocs, cleanDocs and pdfDocs. The 845-lawyer firm in April selected Contentworker from Stockholm-headquartered software supplier Formpipe Intelligo as its new DMS after a full market evaluation.
Commenting on the new solution from DocsCorp, Ron Blijleven, applications manager at Loyens & Loeff, said: “After reviewing all the possible options available to us, we selected the DocsCorp productivity suite because of its user-friendly interface and smooth integration capability with our document management system. Comprehensive testing during the pilot stage put DocsCorp out in front as the winner.”
DocsCorp has a strong following in the Nordic region, with around five of each of the top Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish and three top Danish law firms as clients. In April, Danish law firm LETT rolled out pdfDocs in place of Adobe Acrobat.
Ben Mitchell, DocsCorp vice president, EMEA, “We are delighted to welcome Loyens & Loeff to our customer base following their detailed review of the market and we look forward to working with them to ensure our solutions deliver maximum value to the firm.
“We appreciate the process of switching vendors can present challenges and worked closely with Loyens & Loeff to ensure that transition was as smooth as possible.
