Sharedo hires former Hitachi tech solutions director and announces plans to launch in London

Cheshire-based adaptive case and matter management platform sharedo from slicedbread has hired Hitachi’s former technology solutions director Stuart McLatchie as its new solution delivery director and announced plans to launch in London.
While at Hitachi, McLatchie had responsibility for delivery management for major law firms and corporates such as Allen & Overy, DAC Beachcroft, Jardine Lloyd Thomson, Rabobank, Experian Footfall, Domino’s Pizza and Public Health England.
He was the architect and team lead for the awarding winning pensions and benefits selection platform for Jardine Lloyd Thompson, BenPal.
In his role at sharedo, McLatchie will provide clients with a holistic view of the solutions being delivered to ensure that the business analysis, technical requirements, solution architecture and delivery plans are at the right level of detail and quality.
Based in London, McLatchie will also start building a City-based team to continue sharedo’s growth plans.
In 2015 Hill Dickinson, which has offices in Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield and London, as well as number of international offices, signed up to sharedo, which is underpinned by K2 BPR software. In 2014, top-50 law firm Keoghs used sharedo to replace a traditional document management system and case management software installation.
McLatchie said: “Despite the recent leadership and governing roles that I have had, my background is in delivering solutions. I am a technologist at heart and I admire and respect products that have been clearly designed by experts to deliver solutions solving problems that I have seen clients have time and time again. For me, sharedo delivers on what I see clients needing now, and its design and flexibility makes me believe it has a massive future across many other business sectors. I also knew some of the talent at sharedo before accepting the role, and after a look at the technology in January I realised that this was a company I needed to be part of.”
Ben Nicholson, director of slicedbread, added: “To welcome Stuart as part of the team is a major coup for us. I’ve known Stuart for some time and have seen the success he’s built in his career and the results of his leadership; successfully managing and delivering major projects for enterprise organisations including magic circle law firms. This is an extremely exciting time for sharedo and shows that our innovations are attracting the very best talent.”
