UK top 150 regional law firm Tees Law is to implement Peppermint Technology’s Microsoft Dynamics and Sharepoint-backed Legal Service Platform after an extensive review.
The innovative Hertfordshire, Essex and Cambridgeshire-based law firm is to substitute its Civica Systems practice management system and DPS Software case management system with Peppermint’s cloud-based single connected enterprise platform, spanning CRM, financials and legal process automation.
Tees Law became an alternative business structure in early 2013 after a three-year restructuring plan, at the heart of which was becoming more efficient, scalable and agile. As part of the new strategy it decided to outsource its IT and move its software into the cloud, culminating in 2013 in a deal with IT managed services provider e-know.net.
The progressive firm, which now has more than 230 solicitors and support staff across its three sites, opted for Peppermint after an extensive review of available solutions. Senior partner David Redfern said: “Like most firms, we want to drive down back office overheads, automating routine processes is one way of doing this. We also want to give our people much faster and more complete information support and tools and processes to share information within client teams. The bottom line should be more time spent on delivering value to clients.

Other recent Peppermint wins include top 200 law firm asb law and top 100 law firm Cripps, which in July 2015 selected the Peppermint Legal Service Platform to replace its incumbent Thomson Reuters Elite Enterprise PMS, LexisNexis InterAction CRM and HP WorkSite DMS systems.
In December 2015, Peppermint received over £10m in investment from leading venture capital firm Scottish Equity Partners and has subsequently made some leading name hires, including Kaye Sycamore from Intapp as its CMO and Mike Walker from Thomson Reuters Elite as its CTO.
