TCDI Announces the Launch of JURINNOV’s Cybersecurity Assessment Service

TCDI, a leader in litigation technology and services for mass tort management, second requests, complex litigation, MDL case management, and cybersecurity, today announces JURINNOV, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, has launched its Cybersecurity Assessment service.
The Cybersecurity Assessment is a service that objectively identifies gaps in a company’s security and privacy by evaluating its procedures, practices and technology against a set of globally recognized standards and regulations. Examples of the objectives that may be covered include COBIT 5, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST SP 800-53 Revision 4 and AICPA Trust Service Criteria 2014 used in the SOC 2 and SOC 3, as well as regulatory objectives from HIPAA/HITECH Omnibus Rule and PCI DSS 3.0.
Current standards and regulations have many elements in common, but most companies and services still evaluate them separately. The Cybersecurity Assessment maps multiple objectives to a single set of criteria so that clients will avoid the cost, complexity and redundancy of multiple independent assessments.
In addition to evaluating a company’s security and privacy against multiple objectives, JURINNOV consultants also perform an in-depth analysis and conduct interviews to subjectively identify not only security improvements but security strengths as well. The cybersecurity assessment report provided at the conclusion of each project includes a prioritized action plan that identifies opportunities to enhance data privacy. Furthermore, a letter certifying the independent third-party review is also included.
“At JURINNOV, providing proportional security solutions has always been a top priority,” states Timothy Opsitnick, president of JURINNOV. “We saw the financial strain that conducting multiple, redundant assessments was having on companies, and we knew something had to change. That’s why we created the Cybersecurity Assessment, and we are thrilled to be able to provide an alternative approach to our client base.”
