Riverview Law is relocating to larger, higher tech Manchester premises on 1 September and plans to recruit up to 60 more team members over the next year, including solicitors, paralegals, client managers and data analysts.
Riverview opened in Manchester 17 months ago and currently has 20 members of staff in the City. The new office in Delta House, Wythenshawe, will provide enhanced multi-site disaster recovery and IT resilience.
Delta House is a colocation facility, with the design and implementation of the centre carried out in consultation with data centre and network specialists. It promises from 2mb to 1 GB of dedicated uncontended bandwidth as well as secure VPN connections for each tenant.
Riverview’s operations director Katy Robson said: “Our continued growth is due to increasing demand and Manchester provides an excellent talent pool to meet it. Increasingly, our corporate customers demand a slightly higher standard of IT and data security and we must be able to meet and exceed this expectation to grow existing contracts and win new business. Our new office enables us to provide this important reassurance.”
Riverview has offices in London, Manchester and Wirral as well as New Jersey and New York in the U.S.
