Get voting: Legal Geek launches LawTech startup map

Legal Geek has launched a LawTech startup interactive map, which maps over 50 UK startups categorised by sector, created in conjunction with Thomson Reuters.
The map, which has taken its inspiration from the iconic London Underground, is being used as the voting mechanism for the Legal Geek startup awards. Visitors to the map can vote for each startup and the three with the most votes will qualify to pitch at the startup awards to a panel of judges.
The judges include Mark Edwards, senior vice president of Rocket Lawyer and Maria Shiao, VP at Stelae Technologies, as well as judges to be confirmed from sponsors Thomson Reuters, Freshfields and The Law Society.
Founder of Legal Geek, Jimmy Vestbirk said: “Over the last two years, we have built a community of over 1500 LawTech startups, technologists and legal professionals. Our new map and awards will showcase the practical features and benefits of technology including Machine Learning and the lessons from other industries such as FinTech.”
The map currently only lists startups operating in the UK but over the coming months Legal Geek will be working with Thomson Reuters to map the global LawTech startup ecosystem.
