Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein Switches to iManage for Work Product Management

Firm Needed a More Modern Email and Document Management System to Achieve Greater Efficiency and Provide Better Support for Mobile Workforce
iManage today announced that Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C., a law firm with offices in Long Island, New York City, Albany, NY, and Washington, D.C., is switching from its current document management system to iManage Work Product Management. With more than 130 users across its offices, the firm sought a more modern Work Product Management system that would enable its professionals, seasoned attorneys, lobbyists and former public servants, to be more efficient and productive, and to better meet the needs of its mobile workforce.
“One of the things we really like about iManage Work that we did not have with our previous system is their advanced email management capabilities,” said Rob Necco, director of information technology for Meyer Suozzi. “Our attorneys were very impressed with the fact that iManage Work provides powerful email management capabilities from within Microsoft Outlook. This ability provides a consistent and easy way to file and manage emails, email attachments or both. And, all within an environment that is familiar to our attorneys.”
The firm also recognized the need to work from anywhere and on any device in order to be more productive and provide better client service. “With mobility, our attorneys can now be more efficient both in and out of the office,” continued Necco. “We’ll have the ability to get an email from a client, open it from a mobile device, make changes to it and save it as a new version within iManage Work and share it with other attorneys who need to be in the know. Functionality will now be the same inside or outside of the office. This was very important to us in looking for a new document and email management system.”
“There is an emerging ‘new professional’ persona in today’s law firms,” said Dan Carmel, chief marketing officer at iManage. “Tech savvy. Mobile. Willing to embrace and even seeking new ways of doing business. Supporting these professionals with the right tools and systems can increase their productivity and improve their ability to serve their clients. We are happy that Meyer Suozzi made the move to iManage.”
