Launched in 2014 out of the ashes of OpenText Metastorm MBPM, Stickleback Technologies has become a featured services partner in the Intapp Marketplace, ditching OpenText BPM for Intapp Flow.
Stickleback was formed by Metastorm co-founder Jon Summers and senior sales director Norman Taylor, after OpenText, which acquired Metastorm in 2011, migrated to the Cordys platform instead.
Stickleback continued as an OpenText partner, providing ongoing support to legal organisations utilising the Metastorm BPM platform, and offering migration services to future OpenText BPM releases.
However, in a vote of confidence for Intapp’s clear strategy for the legal sector, Stickleback in August became certified on Intapp Flow, Intapp Integrate and Intapp Open and will now be offering two solutions via Intapp Marketplace – document request management and legal practice work management – with additional solutions to be offered over the coming months. It is currently working with Intapp on a BPM project at a global international law firm.
When Intapp Flow and Stickleback both launched in 2014, at a time when large law firms were faced with migrating to a new Opentext BPM platform, this publication said: “Looks like game-on between Intapp and Stickleback.”
There’s still a game on, it’s just now, the pair are on the same team.
