Meanwhile managed IT services provider Quiss Technology has announced its inclusion in the Microsoft 1-Tier Cloud Solution Provider programme, designed to help clients adopt its cloud-based technology solutions like Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Office 365.
Direct 1-Tier providers like Quiss buy from Microsoft, bill clients directly, and sell combined offers and services, together with providing, managing and supporting products and services. As well as the direct billing model, 1-Tier partners must have broad market reach and a robust 24/7 technical support relationship with customers.
Paul Tozer, head of cloud services at Quiss, commented: “This is not just good news for us, but for our clients and those organisations considering a move to the cloud.
“Clients can now take advantage of Quiss assuming responsibility for every aspect of the client lifecycle. We can not only sell them Office 365 and Azure, handling their subscriptions in the process, but manage support with our own helpdesk – which can also help support existing apps, infrastructure, systems and networks.”

Wins
New York City has selected Logikcull as a preferred provider to help it meet the growing demands of e-discovery and freedom of information, joining a wave of government law departments embracing the legal cloud as the challenges associated with litigation and open records response grows more acute.
Logikcull provides a versatile, end-to-end platform that defensibly automates data processing associated with complex legal projects, and assists in organizing and reviewing that information so it can be quickly produced in legal cases and other forums.
Amid an unprecedented upturn in hacking and data breach, Logikcull also provides a “closed-loop” hub for information, where all channels into and out of the platform are secured with bank-level encryption and all data is encrypted at rest.
“As the volume and complexity of information multiplies by the second, city governments are coming under a tremendous amount of pressure to efficiently — and securely — manage data related to litigation and freedom of information laws,” Logikcull CEO Andy Wilson said.
