Sourcing and analysing company and individual information from local and global jurisdictions often involves convoluted search processes and the manual drawing of organisational structures and relationships. To simplify the process, online search provider InfoTrack has launched a new service whereby clients have immediate access to a range of consolidated reports, which are then illustrated using its REVEAL data visualisation tool.
The reports bring together key data sources, agents and repositories from around the world ‘at the click of a button’, while REVEAL (launched in 2015) organises the information into a structure that features shareholders, directors, locations and any associated past and present organisations.
Barry Vickery (pictured), general manager of corporate services at InfoTrack said: “In our daily lives, we are now used to search engine functionality as a convenient way of finding information quickly. However, we still have to explore the results in detail to ensure reliability. Similarly, law firms are currently spending much of their time looking for, and analysing business information that is more difficult to find. Our new set of reports, available through the InfoTrack platform, are generated using technology that has direct connections with trusted sources around the world, removing the need to access multiple websites.”
InfoTrack’s new offering includes consolidated information from both Companies House Direct and Companies House Beta. Vickery added: “Not only is the information reliable but the technology adds real value by making it very easy to explore past and present structures and shareholder information. That saves precious time whilst giving users a confidence in the information procured.”
InfoTrack, which was founded in Sydney and is reported in the Australian financial press to be preparing to float on the Australian Stock Exchange this year, launched in London in July 2015.
