NetDocuments hires former BLP senior app specialist to lead EMEA projects

NetDocuments has hired former Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) senior applications specialist Mubashir Mian, who joins the Utah-headquartered company to lead professional services projects across the EMEA region.
Mian brings over 13 years of legal document management system experience, having led numerous technical projects and data migrations at both BLP and DLA Piper, where he was lead system specialist and played a key role in the DMS team for almost 10 years.
“I’m thrilled to be part of NetDocuments at such an exciting time in the market,” Mian said. “The next large-scale DMS transition is happening as firms embrace the cloud, and with its experience and history of delivering native cloud platforms, NetDocuments is ideally positioned to partner with firms making the switch.”
Bobby Tindel, SVP of global service delivery at NetDocuments, said: “[Mubashir] brings not only a wealth of domain knowledge and DMS expertise, but also has a deep understanding of the legal marketplace and integrating technologies that are necessary for firms to run efficiently and remain secure.” Recent EMEA wins for NetDocuments include Winckworth Sherwood, which announced in January that it is swapping out its bespoke SharePoint DMS.
