Brabners has become the 50th EMEA law firm to select Thomson Reuters Elite 3E as its enterprise and financial management platform, swapping out its legacy Lexis Axxia Artiion system.
The top 100 UK firm, which employs around 345 staff across its offices in Liverpool, Manchester and Preston, has also selected Workspace, a single interface for users to perform daily tasks on any device anywhere as its business management system. In addition, Brabners selected xcelerate budgeting and forecasting, the only Microsoft Excel and web-based budgeting and forecasting application built specifically for legal and professional services.
Xcelerate, which has enjoyed success among Am Law 100 firms, integrates into 3E to help firms gain better visibility of their operating expenses, fee earner revenue, fee earner compensation, and capital expenditures and enabling the firm to build its budget and forecasts in detail in Excel.
Mark Brandwood (pictured), managing partner at Brabners, said: “As a firm we are committed to investing in technology that not only enhances the way we work, but the service we can deliver to clients. Both 3E and Workspace will give our people greater flexibility, enabling our teams to operate more efficiently and as a result provide a consistently high-quality service to clients.”
Last year Dublin-based law firm LK Shields swapped out its Lexis Axxia Arista practice management system for 3E. Other firms to make the same move include flagship Axxia site Morton Fraser in 2015.
