Dan Dosen has returned to iManage to run the document management system vendor’s cloud operations globally, as iManage looks to build its cloud team.
Dosen most recently worked at Microsystems, where he was vice president of strategy and business development, and before that worked for Chicago-headquartered SaaS enterprise content management provider SpringCM. However, he was among the first recruited to form a new sales engineering group in 2007 by iManage (at the same time part of Interwoven), leaving in September 2010, nine months after Interwoven was acquired by Autonomy.
iManage’s general manager EMEA Geoff Horsby told Legal IT Insider: “Dan used to work with us and others in the legal environment and he’s just come back to run our cloud operations globally. I couldn’t imagine a better guy: he knows us well and has been working with the cloud in other companies. He will add a huge amount of focus and energy.”
Horsby added: “We are strengthening our cloud capability because we’re seeing more people moving to the cloud. Dan heading the team is a very strong sign of its importance to us and how we’re spending money. Over the next two to three years more and more firms will move to the cloud and we’re preparing for that and building that team now.”
The iManage Cloud is open for business in the US, UK, Singapore, Australia and most recently Germany.
