kCura pushes green button on UK cloud as it builds London team

kCura has brought the UK launch of its SaaS eDiscovery platform RelativityOne forward to this year as it builds its London team, including hiring Duncan Morley from Millnet, which was acquired by Advanced Discovery in January.
The eDiscovery leader announced at its London Relativity Fest at the end of April that it would have RelativityOne available in an Azure data centre in the UK in 2018, but it has since expedited that and the cloud solution will be available in the UK in the late summer of 2017.
Explaining the move – which sees the UK become kCura’s first data location outside of the US – vice president of international, Steve Couling (pictured) told Legal IT Insider: “We have a strong, broad, and experienced customer base here; it’s our second-largest market outside of the U.S.; it’s home to our EMEA office; and importantly, our customers here have been asking for it.”
The news comes as kCura builds its London team, including hiring Morley, who has a long eDiscovery pedigree, as enterprise account manager. At Millnet, Morley was a senior eDiscovery adviser, having joined from Consilio, where he was a regional director in the UK. Morley, a qualified solicitor, started in eDiscovery at Kroll Ontrack, advising law firms how to manage documents for legal review.
Couling said: “We’re excited to have Duncan join the kCura team; he brings with him a wealth of experience and skills. Duncan will be working with our enterprise customers across the EMEA region. As our customer-base internationally has continued to grow, we too have grown as a team to ensure we are fully supporting our customers. In the last 12 months, we have added six new people to the London team across support, customer success, solutions, and sales.”
