Handshake announces raft of new wins including nine Am Law 100 firms

Handshake Software will today (22 May) announce a raft of law firm wins including nine of the Am Law 100, with firms such as Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough; Husch Blackwell; Baker & Hostetler; Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, PC and Bryan Cave signing up for recent licenses of Handshake’s Portal, Handshake Universal Search and Expertise Locator products. Mid-market firm wins include Maslon; Varnum; Barley Snyder and Berger Singerman.
“We selected Handshake Software to help us enhance our intranet platform in ways that will offer our attorneys and staff quick and intuitive access to the most relevant information, documents and data across multiple systems” said Bret Chapman, chief information officer at Husch Blackwell.  “Handshake’s Relationship Framework will also help us reduce the length and cost of development cycles and produce a polished, integrated and secure intranet experience for our end users.”
In the UK, where Handshake in 2016 signed Lewis Silkin, the vendor was notably present at Charles Russell Speechly’s tech roadshow, which was used by global director of information technology, Rob Cohen, to help fee-earners decide which technology they want to select and prioritise.
“Our firms are enhancing attorney and staff efficiency by providing a single, consolidated view of all information about themselves, clients and matters and leveraging Handshake Universal Search to create a single search interface for users to find relevant information from all their applications” said Glenn LaForce, Handshake Software’s executive vice president and chief strategy officer.
