Pels Rijcken has joined a growing number of Dutch law firms to select DocsCorp as its swaps out its legacy Workshare solution.
The circa 170-lawyer Dutch independent firm, which is ranked by Legal 500 as tier 1 in litigation and handles approximately one third of all supreme court cases in the Netherlands, now deploys DocsCorp’s PDF editing, document comparison, and metadata removal products to all lawyers and assistants.
Pels Rijcken, whose litigation clients include the Dutch Government, Dutch Central Bank and other regulators and public authorities, purchased pdfDocs from DocsCorp to ensure failsafe redaction and meet the new PDF/A compliance requirements for filing in the Dutch courts. cleanDocs is implemented at the desktop level to ensure that no potentially damaging metadata is leaked through external communications such as emails.
Head of IT, Evert Verheul said: “With the DocsCorp suite we have powerful tools for PDF creation, editing and binding, email attachment control and document comparison. The integration within our DMS makes it even easier to use. It will help our business take the next step into digital litigation.”
Pels Rijcken joins a growing list of Dutch law firms who are using DocsCorp: most recently Lexence swapped out solutions from Workshare and Nuance for DocsCorp’s full desktop suite; while other clients in the region include Loyens & Loeff, AKD Lawyers, De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, and Stibbe.
