Thomson Reuters Elite 3E Gamification Honored at Horizon Interactive Awards

3E Hero Game Paves Way for Increased Innovation Within Elite
Thomson Reuters Elite, part of Thomson Reuters Legal, today announced that its recent “3E Hero” gamification campaign for 3E® has won a Horizon Interactive Award, a competition that recognizes, promotes, and awards the best website design, interactive, videos, online advertising, print media, and mobile applications. An integral element of the Elite Enterprise Business Management Solution, 3E provides strong workflow and automation capabilities and a scalable foundation built to help firms manage all operational aspects of their business.
Created to be a fun, innovative way to engage clients, 3E Hero was awarded Bronze in the Website Games category and is available to download on iTunes here. Designed as a client engagement activity, 3E Hero was launched at the VANTAGE 2016 conference in Nashville and was received with an enthusiastic response by attendees.
Designed with AllenComm, a leading custom training solutions provider, the game pivots around a soccer game where the player must navigate certain obstacles and law firm inefficiencies to reach the final goal. 3E Hero provides a foundation that can be extended to other Elite products, paving the way for further innovation in this area.
“We are extremely pleased that 3E Hero has been recognized with the Horizon Interactive award,” said Elisabet Hardy, vice president of Product Management at Elite. “The game represents a bold step forward for Elite and redefines how the legal technology market talks about itself. With gamification, we will be able to engage a broad audience, including a millennial, “game-centric” demographic.
3E offers powerful core financial and practice management features and built-in application development capabilities—all seamlessly integrated into one high-performance system. Designed from the ground up on Microsoft®.NET®, 3E provides an integrated development environment that enables firms to become more agile in responding to client needs. A full suite of capabilities is delivered through a consistent web-based user experience that allows lawyers and staff to easily track and manage activity on a multi-office, global scale. In its 15th year, the Horizon Interactive Awards was created to recognize excellence in interactive media production worldwide. Since 2001, the competition has received tens of thousands of entries from many countries around the world and nearly all 50 US states. Each year, those entries are narrowed down to the “best of the best” to be recognized and promoted on an international stage for their excellence. The judging process involves a blend of the Horizon Interactive Awards advisory panel, an end user panel, and an international panel of volunteer judges consisting of industry professionals. Winning entries have been dubbed the “best of the best” in the interactive media industry.
