Allen & Overy just announced the appointment of Scott Robson as its first Global Head of eDiscovery. Scott, who will be based in A&O’s London office, joins from EY where he was an Executive Director in the Forensic Technology & Discovery Services (FTDS) group within the Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services (FIDS) practice.
Over the last year, A&O has grown the size of its eDiscovery team by almost 50%. The firm has hired senior resource in Asia Pacific to complement the capabilities already established globally, and continues to grow the teams in the US, UK and European offices. Scott’s appointment highlights A&O’s commitment to investing in the firm’s Advanced Delivery capability, which seeks to find bold technology and resourcing solutions to solve clients’ challenges.
Tim House, Global Head of Dispute Resolution at Allen & Overy, commented: “We know that our clients face constant pressure to strike the optimal balance of cost, quality and risk. By investing in senior business professionals, such as Scott, and by broadening our resourcing and the tools that we use we are helping them overcome this challenge. Appointments such as these will support our cross-border work, allowing us to lead on innovation in fast developing markets where expectations are rapidly changing with regard to e-disclosure rules and regulators using technology.”
In June this year the Insider reported that Allen & Overy’s respected litigation support senior manager Vince Neicho had joined Integreon as a legal solutions consultant for clients in the UK and globally.
