Tech deals: Dye & Durham acquires remaining 49% of Easy Convey

Canadian legal tech provider Dye & Durham has acquired the remaining 49% of UK-based e-conveyancing provider Easy Convey, bringing Dye & Durham’s holding to 100 percent and providing an exit for outgoing managing director Dominic Cullis (pictured).
Founded in 2000, Easy Convey’s electronic conveyancing case management solution is one of the largest conveyancing platforms in England and Wales. As we reported in April 2016, the first 51% of Easy Convey was acquired by OneMove Technologies, which acquired Dye & Durham around the same time.
Commenting on the transaction, Matthew Proud, CEO of Dye & Durham said, “This is a significant step for Dye & Durham as we are continuing our commitment to international expansion. We are delighted to have 100% ownership of Easy Convey and we have ambitious plans for future development.”
“I am delighted to pass the Easy Convey baton to Dye & Durham. This is a new chapter for Easy Convey which will bring significant benefit to Easy Convey clients” Cullis said.
Tom Durbin St George, incoming Director of Easy Convey said: “We plan to continue the innovative and market leading work undertaken by Easy Convey over the last 17 years while bringing in new products and services for our clients.”
