Swap-out Wars: @DocsCorp replace @Workshare at Dutch law firm @Dirkzwager_nl as regional momentum continues

DocsCorp just announced that their products have replaced Workshare’s at Dirkzwager, the largest firm of lawyers and civil-law notaries outside the Randstad in the Netherlands. The sale comes on the heels of other significant Workshare swap outs in the Benelux region for DocsCorp, including prominent firms Stibbe and Lexence. Deployment has recently been completed and the sale of all three products was finalized earlier this year.
As part of the sale, metadata cleaning tool cleanDocs and PDF application pdfDocs has been deployed enterprise-wide and is now available to all users at Dirkzwager. Additionally, compareDocs will be used for document comparison workflows firm-wide.
The move to DocsCorp comes after extensive product testing within Dirkzwager’s IT Department and selected users from other departments. DocsCorp was chosen because of its out-of-the-box integration with the firm’s existing document management system (DMS). pdfDocs, unlike other PDF applications, also creates regulation PDF/A files which Dutch Courts require as part of the electronic submission process.
Vincent Verploegen, Head of IT at Dirkzwager said, “The DocsCorp suite with DMS integration has made it easy for us to be compliant with the new Dutch digital litigation requirements and offers us all the necessary tools for our business”.
Ben Mitchell, Vice President EMEA at DocsCorp said, “We are very pleased to welcome Dirkzwager to the DocsCorp client base and look forward to our continued work together. The evaluation project at Dirkzwager ran very smoothly which is testament to the significant investment we have made to improve the ease of deployment for our solutions.”
