Well known, well liked, and very well sponsored, is Martyn Wells, IT Director of Wright Hassall who is currently fighting Stage IV Malignant Melanoma. He is an extraordinary person who is giving back to the community with his efforts to raise funds for the charity Macmillan Cancer Support.
Martyn Wells says: “I am a stage IV malignant melanoma patient who’s needed 7 surgeries in the last 12 months to help me beat cancer. My last surgery removed my stomach. I’m now fighting back with the biggest adventure that I could think of; one that was sitting right on my doorstep waiting to be discovered.”
Martyn aims to walk the course of the Severn River, some 211 miles, within 10 days. Not an easy feat for a healthy person, let alone a cancer patient.
The legal industry vendors have pulled together to lend their support and Kutana is offering up a raffle prize of a 2 night break for up to 6 people in a luxury Marrakech villa.
Rob Simcock, Director of Kutana, says: “I think we all agree that we want to support our colleagues whenever and how ever we can.
