What’s hot: Tikit announces partnership with FileTrail

Following a run of wins in the US, document and records management provider Filetrail has partnered with Tikit to complement Tikit’s document lifecycle ecosystem. Filetrail in May integrated with NetDocuments, for which Tikit is a preferred strategic document management system partner.
Now, more than ever, firms need to have a robust information governance process. The necessity to comply with regulations such as GDPR and, increasingly, the need to demonstrate adherence to Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCG) requires firms to place greater focus on their processes for controlling documents. In order to better assist firms in the management of their documents throughout their lifecycle, Tikit has added more functionality to its document and matter lifecycle ecosystem by partnering with FileTrail.
FileTrail works with document management systems such as NetDocuments, iManage and eDOCS to provide a single view of both electronic and physical records from within the document management system and to proactively manage those documents throughout their life. FileTrail’s unique Governance Policy Suite brings automation and consistency to a firm’s information governance policy.
Simon Elven, Tikit commercial and marketing director said “FileTrail provides the most comprehensive tool for managing a firm-wide information governance process that we have seen. It brings together physical records and electronic records in one place and automates the process of a matter moving through its lifecycle, including archive and recall of physical records to and from storage. Without FileTrail it is difficult to see how firms can easily ensure compliance with the requirements of external regulations and guidelines. The fact that FileTrail works with a range of document management systems means that we can offer its benefits to our entre client base.”
Filetrail recently won as clients Shook, Hardy & Bacon and Foley & Lardner and counts among its client base leading firms such as Husch Blackwell and Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg.
