Converge TS to provide hosted platform for newly-launched legal data strategists

Newly formed legal tech data strategist firm Focis has selected Converge TS to provide a fully managed infrastructure as a service platform to host their clients’ data.
Established by two experienced consultants – Paul Ryan is formerly a director of Mayflower Solutions and Adele Summers (pictured) is formerly a director at Square Bracket – Focis aims to support law firms in getting on top of their unstructured data, creating a digital strategy, and helping firms to connect data and processes to third party provider to improve services to clients. Ryan and Summers are based in Edinburgh but plan to support firms throughout the UK and Ireland.
The platform provided by Converge TS is designed to give Focis the flexibility to configure their environment to their own specification, allocating resources based on the needs of their clients, whilst also maintaining a high level of security to meet firms’ compliance requirements.
“We had experience of working with Converge TS before we set up Focis so we were confident in their service levels and we knew they could deliver a secure, compliant environment that could scale up with us as we grow” said Summers. Before Square Bracket, which offers consultancy and IT services to the legal sector, Summers was a systems manager at Clyde & Co and her roles have included Visualfiles developer at Simpson & Marwick.
She added: “Like us, Converge TS are legal sector specialists. Their expertise at the infrastructure level, coupled with our ability to develop and create workable solutions across legal sector case and practice management systems including Visualfiles and SOS, meant that it was the perfect choice.”
