Gavelytics will today (17 October) announce a partnership with remote court appearance pioneer CourtCall in a partnership that will help accelerate the growth of Gavelytics’ judicial analytics platform nationally by offering Gavelytics products to thousands more lawyers. Currently only available in California, Gavelytics is preparing to launch its AI-driven data visualization tool in other key state court jurisdictions, including Florida, Texas and Illinois.
CourtCall enables attorneys to make routine court appearances from their offices, homes or other convenient locations and now those same attorneys will have access to actionable insights on the judges presiding over their cases. Gavelytics uses AI to identify and visualize patterns and tendencies in judicial decision-making, including behaviours such as: propensity for favouring plaintiffs or defendants at bench trial; how judges are inclined to rule on pivotal motions; judicial workload and speed; preferred case law and arguments; and convenient biographical information.
“Our channel partnership with CourtCall is a huge milestone for Gavelytics as we ramp up our national rollout starting in Florida by the end of this year,” said Gavelytics CEO and founder Rick Merrill. “We are thrilled to partner with a top-flight legal technology pioneer, which puts us one step closer to ensuring that every lawyer in the country – not just from big firms – has access to cutting-edge insights regarding state court judges. Gavelytics’ judicial insights help litigators win new business, custom-tailor litigation strategies to their judge and obtain more favorable outcomes for their clients. This is the future of litigation, available now.”
