Legal IT Newswire: Womble Bond acquires T3 knowledge management software from Lexsoft

Womble Bond Dickinson has acquired a Traceable Taxonomy Toolkit (T3) knowledge management software from Lexsoft Systems.
T3 is a Knowledge Management System (KMS) that will allow WBD to access, create, share, use and manage the knowledge and information within the firm.
WBD renewed all of its internal Knowledge Systems to allow its people to have a simple, up-to-date tool, which fully integrates with not only the firm’s current iManage Document Systems but also with the most modern Enterprise Search tools.
David Lee, IT Director at WBD, comments: “The T3 KMS will allow WBD to apply complex taxonomies to the knowledge held in our iManage Document Systems as well as design our own publication cycle – from the document proposal, to the KM professional’s curation of the document. Finally, our legal teams will be able to easily access KM documents either by using T3 Search or iManage Insight. We look forward to using the system and working with Lexsoft Systems. ”
Carlos García-Egocheaga, Managing Director at Lexsoft Systems, adds: “Lex-soft Systems has been working on Knowledge Management Systems since its origins in 2005. Ten years ago Lexsoft understood that the Legal Market, leveraging on the iManage investments already done by many of our clients, was in need of a simple but powerful solution. Since then we have been providing several versions of our KM software T3 in which versions have been made by analysing the necessities of the Knowledge Professionals in different environments – from the very large organisations to the smaller firms. We are delighted to welcome WBD on board and are confident  that their 1300 users will benefit from an easy and powerful internal knowledge search.”
