IBM Watson-backed contract management system ContractPodAi is continuing its aggressive push outside the legal sphere with a native Salesforce application launching on the Salesforce App Exchange.
Following its launch on SalesForce CRM last year, ContractPodAi customers have increasingly been using its services across a number of business functions including sales and marketing, according to CEO and co-founder Sarvarth Misra.
“Launching a pure play native application on Salesforce was therefore a no brainer for us, giving us further growth scalability,” Misra said. “Without leaving their native salesforce environment, business users will now have everything they need to manage the contracting process, from contract generation through to negotiation and signature – speeding up the overall sales process and reducing demands from the legal team.”
“It comes from customer demand and those drivers are always best,” added ContractPodAi chief growth officer Jon Squire. Squire explained that the product is now being targeted specifically at chief revenue and chief marketing officers.
The App is available either as a self-serve licence on the App store or as a managed service via ContractPodAi’s implementation team. The company’s priority now is to bring more of its functionality on stream, particularly AI. The other big focus is the US, according to Squire, following the opening of offices in New York and San Francisco last year.
Founded in 2014 as ContractPod, with the aim of providing out of the box contract management and analytics, the company rebranded in 2017 when it launched AI contract analyst E:V, IBM Watson’s first foray into the contract management space.
ContractPodAi customers include household names such as Freeview, Wonga, Ikea, LendInvest and Total.
