Shanghai-based software consultancy Smart Team Global has launched a Microsoft Azure-hosted comparison tool Matteroom Compare powered by Workshare.
Matteroom Compare was designed so that organisations can leverage Workshare’s content comparison engine as a cloud service, hosted in Microsoft’s China data centre with WeChat Pay capability supporting a “pay as you go” consumption model.
The new product offers customers a “Paper Compare” solution as a pay-per-view service. This flexible model means that documents can be compared without purchasing annual licenses or incurring any additional fees.
The partnership is said to embody Workshare’s wider strategy of leveraging local partners to better understand the market and develops targeted solutions for the way people work, reducing friction in the process.

We really enjoyed bringing this capability to fruition, as Workshare’s technology and personnel are superb to work with.
