Madrid will become the European capital of LegalTech during the European Congress of LegalTech #ELTACON2019, it has been decided. CEU San Pablo University will co-host the congress, which begins on 20 November with an exclusive event for ELTA members and will continue on the 21st and 22nd with lectures and roundtables on innovation and digital transformation.
Tobias Heinig, president of ELTA, said: “Some of the best international LegalTech experts have already confirmed their attendance as speakers. However, the poster of speakers is still not completely closed because we have opened so that those professionals who consider that they have something interesting to tell in the congress, can propose their participation”. María Jesús González-Espejo, vice-president of ELTA and managing partner of the Institute for Legal Innovation, is responsible for bringing the Congress to Madrid and, in recognition, the Madrid City Council has awarded her with the title of “Ambassador of Madrid” and has paid her a tribute in the Caja de Música Auditorium.
ELTA is a non-profit association. Attendees will have to pay a small fee, the price of which varies depending on whether they are members of ELTA or not.
