Given the huge interest in the sector in Thomson Reuters‘ acquistion of HighQ, we thought you’d be interested to know that leading UK tech firm Kemp Little advised TR in a fantastic deal for the firm. HighQ was advised by Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
The Kemp Little team was led by corporate partner Andy Moseby with support from corporate associate Rebecca Denton. Skadden was led by private equity partner Richard Youle. You’ll recall that HighQ in 2016 received a $50m investment from One Peak Partners, Morgan Stanley Merchant Banking and Goldman Sachs Private Capital.
Moseby said: “We were delighted to support Thomson Reuters on this important acquisition, using our technical expertise and experience dealing with dynamic software providers, as the company continues to invest in growing its core offerings in business information services.”
Arma Partners was the financial adviser to HighQ.
