Who are Pinsents’ legal engineers?

“The technology isn’t the novelty; it’s our innovative business application of technology that’s more recently been the game changer.” We like Pinsent Masons’ interview with Simon Cheung, senior legal engineer in their innovation team, which is part of a series of personal stories and insights about different career paths across the globe.
On his way to becoming a legal engineer at Pinsent Masons, Cheung studied a BSc in Computer Science & Law at the University of Strathclyde and undertook an accelerated LLB in Scots Law before completing the Diploma in Legal Practice. He was previously at Ashurst in the firm’s Glasgow Ashurst Advance office. You can read his interview by Pinsents using the link below.
He says: “If you really want to differentiate yourself, seriously consider learning foundational computer science subjects such as databases, programming, coding and system design.”
