Law Society LawTech Survey – get involved

The Law Society launches survey, in partnership with the University of Oxford, to explore how lawyers skill sets need to adapt.

The Law Society of England and Wales is on a mission to help lawyers make the most of legal technology, its director of strategic relationships says in a recent LinkedIn post that we have been asked to share with you.

Denyer says: “In our most recent practising certificate holder survey, 64% of respondents reported wanting more training and support relating to the use of technology. To help us produce useful guidance for the legal profession, we’ve teamed up with the University of Oxford to produce a short LawTech survey which explores respondents experiences of legal technology and technology training during their professional career. It closes on 16 December.

“The research comes at a good time. Our workforce planning research which explores how lawyers skill sets need to adapt was published yesterday. That research shows that tech skills aren’t being prioritised by the profession.”
