Portsmouth City Council seeks market information ahead of tender for legal CMS, DMS and time recording system – link here

Portsmouth City Council’s (PCC) Legal Service is looking for information and advice ahead of going to market to procure a legal case management, document and time recording system to manage the council’s legal caseload and day-to-day working performance of its legal team.

The information it receives will be used to influence PCC’s specifications – but be quick, you only have until the end of January to complete the questionnaire.

The questionnaire contains sections that relate to the services that you provide and subject to the response PCC may wish to engage with you further in an informal discussion, although it’s obliged to say “this is purely a market consultation and is in no way an indication of the selection of your organisation or a guarantee of future work.” It also adds: “Organisations participating in the market consultation will not have any advantage over organisations who do not participate in this process. Similarly organisations not participating in the market consultation will not be disadvantaged.”

Following this consultation process, PCC will consider the appropriate route to market and may conduct a full tender in order to select a supplier(s).
