Updated: GlenLegal20 postponed due to COVID-19

Updated on 12 March: The dates in December are in fact 13-15 December, not 14-16 as originally written.

Legal IT Insider has taken the decision to postpone GlenLegal 2020 in light of concerns over the spread of the COVID-19 virus and the growing numbers of speakers, sponsors, and delegates who contacted us to say that they are unable to attend due to travel bans.

We spent last week communicating with attendees, and it became clear that postponing the event was the only option.

This is our fifth year of partnering with Gleneagles Hotel to deliver the conference and thanks to our ongoing relationship with the hotel and the senior management’s expert handling of the situation we are delighted to announce that #GlenLegal20 will now take place on 13-15th December, where we expect to celebrate the end of 2020 with an ‘Orange & Black’ ball.

In just five years we have seen the Beast from the East, storms of increasing magnitude and regularity, unprecedented flooding and now COVID-19, which is challenging the legal sector’s working practices.

We will shortly have an announcement as to how we are lending our platform to help the sector stay on top of these challenges. Stay tuned!
