Legal IT Events: Rocket Aid is coming up THIS WEEK

Rocket Matter’s charitable virtual conference Rocket Aid is coming up this week, so make sure that you have it in your diary – it’s a charitable virtual conference for lawyers that includes 12.5 hours of CLE in Florida, including 6.0 hours technology and 1.5 health and wellness. Includes 20+ online sessions, six-minute Ignite Law style sessions and various cyber networking events spanning 16-17 April, 10AM- 6:30PM Eastern US time.

Rocket Aid is charging a $25 registration fee which will be donated directly to United Way’s COVID-19 Fund, Pro Bono Net, as well as Feeding America, a charity network of more than 200 food banks. Register online here.

Rocket Matter’s CEO and founder Larry Port said last week that Rocket Matter and Dialpad were matching contributions for the next 100 signups, so we look forward to seeing the final sums raised for such a worthy cause.

The content will cover topics such as cybersecurity for the remote lawyer, how to streamline billing and collections in an online world, and embracing modern tools that will help law firms adapt and thrive in a changing world. You can take a look at the agenda in full here:

Tomorrow, April 16, session highlights include a “reporting and legal PR in the Coronavirus age” media roundtable featuring myself, Caroline Hill alongside Bob Ambrogi, LawSites Blog; Joanna Goodman, UK-based freelance legal journalist; Joe Patrice, Above the Law; Beth Anne Stuebe, ILTA, and Zach Warren, Legaltech News. Moderated by Jobst Elster, InsideLegal’s head of content & legal market strategy, the panel will discuss the new normal of legal coverage and reporting, relevant PR ‘do’s and don’ts’ and the most impactful COVID-19 stories impacting the legal tech community.

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.
